           Samuel's parent's name was Elkanah and Hannah.  The second "nagging" wife was Penniah, Sam 1: 1-7

            Hophni and Phineas are the sons of Eli whose to offenses were 1) not honoring, actually disrespecting the offering of the priests by taking more than was their due and 2) involved in immoral acts with the women of Israel. I. Sam. 2:1-27.

  How did Priest Eli die?

            Eli, probably in part for his failure to bring correction to his sons’ sin may have died prematurely and died a horrible death by falling backward off his chair and broke his neck.  I. Sam. 4:18
