1. WHAT WAS MOSES DOING WHEN GOD SPOKE TO HIM IN THE FLAMING BUSH?

Tending the flock

Exodus 3:1-2
Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

2. BY WHAT NAME DID GOD IDENTIFY HIMSELF TO MOSES WHEN HE CALLED HIM TO DELIVER THE ISRAELITES

I Am That I Am

Exodus 3:13-14
And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

3. WHY DID THE ISRAELITES NOT USE LEAVENING IN THEIR BREAD AS THEY LEFT EGYPT

So their soul wouldn’t be cut off.
Exodus 12:15
Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

4. WHAT PROVISION DID GOD MAKE FOR THE ISRAELITES TO TRAVEL SAFELY BOTH DAY AND NIGHT?

Pillar of a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

Exodus 13:21
And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

5. WHAT WAS THE FIRST OF THE TEN PLAGUES VISITED UPON PHAROAH FOR KEEPING THE HEBREWS IN BONDAGE?

Blood in the river

Exodus 7:17
Thus saith the Lord, In this thou shalt know that I am the Lord: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.
