1. WHY WAS JESUS HUNGRY WHEN THE TEMPTER CAME TO HIM IN THE WILDERNESS?
Jesus had fasted forty days and forty nights
Matthew 4:2
And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
2. HOW DID JESUS REJECT SATAN’S TEMPTATION TO TURN STONES INTO BREAD?
Jesus quoted scripture to reject Satan’s temptation, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
3. WHAT WAS JESUS’S RESPONSE WHEN SATAN TEMPTED HIM TO JUMP FROM THE PINNACLE OF THE TEMPLE?
Jesus response was, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Matthew 4:7
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
4. WHAT WAS CHRIST ASKED TO DO WHEN SATAN SHOWED HIM THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD?
Christ was asked to fall down and worship Satan.
Matthew 4:9
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
5. WHO MINISTERED TO JESUS AFTER SATAN LEFT HIM?
Angels ministered to Jesus.
Matthew 4:11
Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
