1. IN JESUS' PARABLE OF THE RICH FARMER, WHY DID HE CALL THE MAN A "FOOL"?
The rich farmer was banking on what the next crop would bring, but tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

Luke 12:16-20
And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest.
He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’
“Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain.
And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’
“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

2. WHOM DID PAUL INSTRUCT TO COUNSEL THE "RICH IN THIS WORLD" TO TRUST IN THE LIVNG GOD RATHER THAN THEIR "UNCERTAIN RICHES"?
Timothy

1 Timothy 6:17
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
